Our consortium, a European Commission funded Erasmus+ consortium, have developed an intervention in an effort to support the reduction of sitting time in office workers (both office-based and home-office-based workers). The event focuses on providing information on the impact of excessive sitting time on health and productivity in office workers. It also aims to provide company managers, occupational health promotion practitioners and health and safety officers within companies with ways in which they can effectively reduce poor sitting behaviors in the office workplace.
How to arrive
TUS is located on the Dublin Road, Athlone. It is approximately a 20-25 minute walk from the Athlone train station. Alternatively, the A1 bus will bring you from the train station to TUS. The bus journey will take between 45-60 minutes. For those travelling by car, the Eircode for the University is N37HD68.
